Terms of service.

The service, price, field responsibilities, equipment terms, evidence limits, and warranty in one place.

1. Agreement

By purchasing or using RodentRadar products or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the products or services.

Marshall Technologies operates RodentRadar in Buffalo, New York.

2. The service and what the record means

RodentRadar records timestamped motion detections at labeled sensor positions and replays them in time order on a floorplan. The record can help focus a physical inspection. A detection does not by itself identify a species, animal count, exact route, entry point, cause, or successful remediation.

The current service includes:

  • One RodentRadar base station and eight labeled wireless sensors assigned to the active site.
  • Web access to activity data and floorplan playback.
  • Storage of motion-event and device records needed for the service.
  • RodentRadar product and setup support.

3. Investigation Month price and billing

The current public offer begins with one Investigation Month at one active customer site. The customer price is $295 for the active month. Nobody pays until the service is installed and active, and there is no separate installation fee.

Any continuation after the Investigation Month requires separately disclosed and accepted terms. Sending a contact request does not order hardware, book an investigation, or start billing.

4. Customer, account, and field responsibilities

The responsible operator keeps the customer relationship and owns site permission, installation and sensor placement when assigned, physical inspection, interpretation, customer communication, treatment or exclusion decisions, and the field result. RodentRadar supplies the product, the timestamped floorplan record, and product support.

Customers, account users, and responsible operators must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, use the system only with proper site authority, and perform the duties they accept for the property and equipment.

5. Assigned and loaned equipment

Hardware ownership, custody, return responsibility, and return shipping are confirmed in writing before a system is assigned or shipped. Hardware is not automatically transferred through a public checkout. Do not return equipment without first obtaining the correct return instructions from RodentRadar.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for an unlawful purpose.
  • Use the service to monitor people without proper knowledge, authority, or consent.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, devices, data, or systems.
  • Reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the hardware or software except where the law expressly permits it.
  • Resell, redistribute, or represent the service without authorization.
  • Present a detection as proof of a claim the record does not establish.

7. One-year limited hardware warranty

RodentRadar hardware is covered by a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, or battery replacement.

Contact RodentRadar before returning hardware so the problem, required components, and return instructions can be confirmed.

8. Service limits and limitation of liability

RodentRadar is a detection and monitoring tool. We do not guarantee the elimination of rodents or pests. The service provides information about recorded activity that can help prioritize where to inspect next. A RodentRadar detection does not, by itself, identify an entry point.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RodentRadar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including property damage, loss of profits, or business interruption.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes may be communicated by email, through the service, or through a notice on the site. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
